Gas and liquids mechanical impurities filter
Depending on the type, amount and particle size distribution of mechanical impurities, filter elements with depth, depth-surface and surface filtration medium can be installed in these filters, allowing to remove particles from 0.3 microns to several millimeters in size with efficiency over 99%. The main materials of filtration media are metal fiber, fiberglass, polypropylene, ceramics, epoxidized cellulose.
Filter coalescers are designed to clean gaseous (gas-liquid coalescers) and liquid (liquid-liquid coalescers) medium from liquid and mechanical impurities. In coalescent filters, purification from liquid impurities occurs due to the ability of the fibrous-porous medium of filter elements to coalesce (combine) finely dispersed liquid particles ranging in size from 0.1 μm into larger ones, thereby creating the possibility of their subsequent gravitational separation. The residual content of aerosols of the liquid in the gas after the gas-liquid coalescer may be less than 1.0 mg / Nm3. The residual content of aerosols of the liquid in the gas after the liquid-liquid coalescer may be less than 10 ppm mass.
Separators, filter separators and dust collectors are designed for cleaning gas from mechanical impurities and dropping liquid. As internal devices in these devices can be used lamellar and mesh drift eliminators, multicyclones, centrifugal-vortex elements, filtering or coalescing cartridges.
